To create the frame for the mini trees we used tomato cages from Vadoulis at Gawler, wrapped in chicken wire. We then spiraled light strings purchased from K-Mart around the frame securing the strings with cable ties.

The stars on top of the mini trees are made from battery operated night lights that we purchased from eBay. The lights inside the night lights were not suitable for our purposes so we swapped them for tri-coloured LEDs that we also purchased from eBay.
